7thA Rochdale group information
7thA Rochdale (the number 7 being previously issued to an older group or groups), was established by the Sunday School at Spotland Methodist Church, on Rooley Moor Road. A relationship continued to today, though more at arm's length.
We built and opened our current HQ, at Spotland Bridge, in 1962. One of the older Groups within Pennine District, we were the first group in the old Rochdale district to open fully coeducational across all sections and the first group in Pennine to welcome Squirrel Scouts into our movement.
We are lucky to have our own HQ, at Spotland Bridge. Near the junction of Spotland Rd and Mellor St.
